AVOLA Therapy is a registered ESA Provider
At AVOLA Therapy, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential—at home, in school, and in the community. Through Arizona’s Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) program, parents can choose the services that best meet their child’s unique needs, including high-quality occupational therapy designed to build confidence, independence, and essential life skills.
Why Occupational Therapy?
Occupational Therapy (OT) helps children develop the skills they need to participate successfully in everyday activities—whether it’s getting dressed, holding a pencil, paying attention in class, or managing emotions. OT focuses on practical solutions to everyday challenges, empowering children with the tools to succeed in their own environments.
How Can Occupational Therapy Help My Child?
Every child’s needs are unique, but some common challenges we help address include:
- Fine Motor Skills: Difficulty with handwriting, using scissors, or manipulating small objects.
- Gross Motor Skills: Struggles with balance, coordination, and strength that can affect playground or sports participation.
- Sensory Processing: Over-reacting or under-reacting to sensory input (sounds, textures, movement) that impact learning and behavior.
- Attention and Behavior Regulation: Difficulty sitting still, focusing, or following multi-step instructions.
- Self-Care and Independence: Challenges with dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
- Visual-Motor and Visual-Perceptual Skills: Trouble copying from the board, aligning numbers, or navigating space.
Tailored Interventions for School-Aged Children
Our licensed occupational therapists use evidence-based interventions tailored to each child’s goals and interests. Common therapy approaches include:
- Handwriting programs to improve writing fluency.
- Sensory Integration Therapy to support calm alertness and focus.
- Core strengthening and coordination exercises for gross motor development.
- Visual-motor integration activities to boost reading and math performance.
- Daily living skills training for greater independence at home and in the community.

We’re happy to provide the required documentation to support ESA reimbursements.
